Since I'm updating anyway. . .

I have to share this photo of Griffin. I know it's blurry, but it was the best I could do at the time. The Monday before Halloween, he just decided he would start walking. I was at my sister's house, sewing, and he just tried to walk everywhere instead of crawling. I can't believe how suddenly it happened. He's so so cute toddling around, so unsteady. He loves to carry things around. It almost makes me sad, he looks so grown up! He's built just like a little adult and then to see him carrying a lunch box like he was going off to school. He's so big!

We went for a well check up last Wednesday. Silly goof has lost weight. I'm actually really worried about it. He's only in the 8th percentile for weight and the 55th for height. It's hard to give him high calorie food because of his milk allergy, so yogurt, cheese, milk all out. He does drink soy formula, so that's good. And we are trying to get him to eat more high calorie foods, so hopefully he will grow out of it and start gaining some weight. Posted by Picasa

This is just for Kelly :)

So, this year my sister and I must have gone temporarily insane. We decided to do a fairy tale theme and sew all of our children's costumes. I have not a clue what I was thinking. It was so so so much work, but I have to say that they turned out dang cute!

From left to right in the photo: Griffin as a dragon, Maxton as a knight (he also has a hood, but he's not wearing it in the photo), Maddy as a princess, Hyrum as a knight and Xander as a dragon. They had tons of fun this Halloween. They ate so much candy; really I should have limited their intake a little bit more, but having a bit of a sweet tooth myself. . .

We got a lot of oohs and ahhs over their costumes and they really loved them, so it makes the hours I put into them worth it. Although next year, I think I will just buy. Posted by Picasa
