Wow. I know weeks like this. I'm so glad I bypass the whole cereal fight with giving them all the same kind, and a side of Like It or Lump It.

But the TV, the Shoes, the Socks, and Backpacks.... I could unplug the TV, set clean socks in their shoes right by the door with their backpacks, and they would still have trouble finding them.

We do the music thing, too. So don't feel bad. It's better than listing to the Man join in the bellowing. Yeesh.

I've SO done the music thing too!It's been awhile since I've done it but there was a phase where I did it ANYTIME my kids started yelling at each other in the car, I drowned them out with my music.

seriously Kara, I SO FEEL YOU! Right down to the blasted music to try to drown them out which in turn annoys them which then makes me sing even louder. I could have wrote this post word.for.word. Minus one kiddo that is. I can tell you from experience it gets SO MUCH BETTER! :) Mine are 10, 12 and 14 now and they ALL get themselves up (most days) and out the door on time for school fully dressed... shoes and everything. ;) Luckily they're cute... it saves them every time. ;)

You made me laugh too (my favorite part is where you turned up the music and sang badly, so something I have done before). Surprisingly, if I can wake Hyrum up, he is very good about getting ready in the morning. I have no idea why, but I am grateful I don't have to get everyone else ready in time to leave. I hope your mornings go smoother this week.

oh, how i feel you. it's times like these that make me REALLY dislike winter. The kids can't go outside and play, and everyone is stuck inside...remind me again why I wanted to leave Hawaii??? If you ever need a shoulder, or fellow compadre, I am your woman, believe me. I feel for you!
