From time to time, I might mention someone who I have assumed you knew, but you really don't. Here's a handy reference guide to some of my favorite people ever (including myself).
David:
David is my husband of 8 years. We are basically perfect for each other. I could get real mushy here. He's smart, gorgeous and 6'5". Plus, he's endlessly supportive.
Kara:
I am the Author of this blog. I am mommy to four kids and David is of course, my husband.
Xander, age 7:
Xander is the oldest child. He is smarter than smart (ok, all my kids are, but he has a brain for facts). He is sweet, kind and wants 10 children. He is analytical and asks lots of questions or assumes he already knows the answers.
Maxton, age 6:
Maxton (or Max half the time) is the next in line. He is 14.5 months younger than Xander. He is really good with language and uses big words for a Kindergartener. He is loyal to the end, sweet, kind and he loves to spend time with the people he loves. He has a wicked, withering scowl.
Griffin, age 4:
Griffin is 22 months younger than Maxton, and this is our largest gap. Griffin is a character. He has a strong personality and is always pushing boundaries. He is entertaining and he makes me smile everyday. He is a deep thinker and his questions always show insight, depth and curiosity. He loves to be in the thick of things and he is always trying to out-do his older brothers.
Aubriana, age 2:
There is 19 months between Aubrey and Griffin. We sometimes call her Bree Bree. She is such a quirky mix of girly-girl and tomboy, due to the influence of her brothers. She tends to run at extremes, so either she is very cheerful or a total grouch. She loves to sing and dance and she's surprisingly good at the singing for two years old, although she doesn't like to sing regular songs, she likes to make them up herself. She is also very funny and makes me laugh regularly. She loves to talk and she basically doesn't shut up from the time she gets up until she goes to bed, but it's generally worth listening to.
Melissa: My younger sister
Jay: Her Husband
Hyrum, Maddy, Miles and Graham: Their Children
Jake: My younger brother
Winston: His Son
Tyler: My youngest brother
Karol: My mom and my children's grandma (David read that and he's all like, "Duh Kara," but I felt I needed to clarify; would hate to confuse anyone here).
Lynn: My Dad and my children's grandpa
