Everything went great

So, I waited all day yesterday and no call back from the doctor. I was pretty upset, because I had no idea what was happening or what even needed to happen. Well, David called this morning. The nurse said she'd have the doctor call me back. An hour and a half later, I got a call. We're going into the hospital in about an hour to have the surgery done. It sounds pretty simple. They do a little incision in the belly button, use a camera to find it and then pull it out. I'm so glad we didn't have to wait until Monday.

Everything went well with the surgery. I've never been put out before and it was sort of a strange experience. The worst part of everything was getting the IV put in, but that wasn't too bad. I went into the OR around 1:00, the procedure took about 20 minutes and we left the hospital at around 5:00. I'm doing great, not in any pain. I'm just a little dizzy and I was really hungry, but David ran and got me some Arby's. Yummy. I'll be taking it easy for a few days, but everything went really well.
