Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday we finally got around to carving our pumpkins that we've had for weeks. We had so much fun. I got the lovely task of scooping out the insides. Joy. After that was done, we decided what to carve on the pumpkins. Maxton wanted Daddy to do a happy face (the pumpkin on the far left). I think it turned out more maniacally happy. It's a bit scary. Then they wanted me to do a scary face (the one on the right). I had a lot of fun with it. Xander especially loves his sharp teeth. At first, Xander wanted his and Maxton's pumpkin to be said, with "drop" cause it was crying, but Maxton wanted a happy face and Xander changed it to a silly face, so I carved theirs as a silly, happy face. I think it's my favorite of the three. It certainly has personality!

We are super excited to go trick-or-treating tonight! Can't WAIT! Posted by Picasa

  1. What did your kids go as for Halloween? Do you have any pictures?
